πραϋπαθία, ας, ἡ (πραΰς, πάθος via παθεῖν [aor. of πάσχω; Philo, Abr. 213; Hesychius explains it by using the words ἡσυχία and πραΰτης as synonyms, hence the opp. of an overbearing attitude) gentleness 1 Ti 6:11 (v.l. πραότητα).
